Wheelhouse Coffee in Rotorua is a cozy and that serves great coffee and excellent dessert. Its casual atmosphere is perfect for solo dining or a quick bite. The service is is friendly and efficient. It's the best coffee after my 3rd day in New Zealand. Wheelhouse Coffee is recommended for anyone seeking quality coffee, tasty treats, and a welcoming environment in Rotorua
This is first and foremost a coffee and tea shop, they have a few eats also. They have the best prices I've seen. It's April 2025 and I'm usually paying up to $2 more than what i paid here for a medium coffee with oat milk no extra charge. Pic of prices below.
Nice cozy spot. Busy, but we had a wonderful visit. Barista was very friendly and gave us, visitors, a very warm welcome and lesson on how to properly eat a NZ breakfast pie!nnRecommend stopping in for good coffee and a pie.
Delicious coffee but what stood out the most was the loveliest, friendliest barista I think called Chloe.
Very relaxed place to grab a coffee and friendly staff helped point out the right Te Puia entrance for our tickets : Banana bread and coffee were great and 15 all in for 2 coffees + cake
