A great spot for photos, near the waterfront with views of the harbor and city skyline. The white sign stands out nicely. Easy to reach by car or on foot, with plenty of space for pictures. Perfect for tourists and locals.
We love Wellington just a bit not happy with the parking space as we still have to pay it even in the weekend, should be free in the weekend

Walkway tracks all around the hills linking to roads, and coastal beach walk links to those too. Many options. Beautiful views of the harbour entrance and cook straight to the south and Wellington Harbour to the North.
A nice landmark where you can take a picture with the Wellington sign. It’s located on the busy Highway 1. There is enough car parking for almost 8 medium sized vehicles on the road, and it’s free to park. The Wellington Airport runaway also just starts here so there will be plenty of planes and their noise. The spot is next to Evan’s Bay so it’s windy and slightly chilly as well. You can also spot some big birds in the Evan’s bay as well. This is just a photo stop here for a bit, click your pictures, and leave.
