Hamish Kho brilliant as always. I usually take my 2 yr old to him if he's got any issues. He recently performed a minor surgery on me, kept me at ease and explained the whole process thoroughly. Great guy and the nurses are also very good. They are always polite, smile and seem to be happy.
I have very painful back where i cannot lift my arm. The doctor did not even check/touch my back or shoulder. She just prescribed me ibuprofen. Dr. GOOGLE is cheaper and more reliable to go to.
Extremely thankful to Dr Brian Ko and the amazing nurses today. Dr Brian's fast action urgent medical care and push to get me seen at public hosp has saved my life. Forever grateful!
They over charge I was in an accident and have to have medication for the rest of my life it’s not my choice but I have to. I was sick of paying $50-$60 bucks to go and get medication I need to have to live so they say just do it thru the app I pay $20 to get it and then they say they can’t put it through because a doctor needs to accept it and theirs only 1 doctor on and she is busy and can’t accept it and that their is no way she can do it so if it’s a medical emergency for the medication she can’t just go accept it and do it. They should have a system where if it is a repeat prescription that keeps someone from dieing and they need it for the rest of their life they would automatically accept it. So pretty much you pay so much to see them and they aren’t even worth that much the receptionist don’t even know that much about how it works in the their you ask them questions and they just say I don’t know.
It's supposed to be ZERO Star. Worst ever GP!!! Hamish Kho prescribed antibiotics for my EIGHT-MONTH-OLD son for a MINOR Ear infection without telling us any side effects. My poor son started throwing up everything he had and also had severe diarrhea that nearly had him DEHYDRATED after taking antibiotics. Please investigate if this is the CORRECT treatment for babies under two. Looking forward to your reply.
Usually great but as they are getting bigger their service is getting worse unfortunately. Went to the same day clinic with my 5 year old son and saw a nurse practitioner who said chest infection and redipred for asthma as his oxygen sats were at 95. She was going to send the prescription to the pharmacy but explained the GP had to sign off first so it might be a few minutes. I hung around and did some jobs before heading to the pharmacy and they had received no script for my boy. It is now 24 hours later and their is still no prescription or medication for my boy and 3 frustrating phone calls on long hold/queues and promises that someone will call me and sort it and still haven’t. This is not good enough - my son is suffering and I can’t get him the medication that we now know he needs because somehow the system has broken down and NO ONE IS HELPING ME. I’m about to follow up with another phone call again!
Had fever last night so I went in the next morning for an 8am appointment with Dr Santha Pamula. It was just almost 5-minute talk. She said she has prescribed me for my sore throat but when I went to the pharmacy to collect it, she wrongly prescribed me a Loratadine or antihistamine! I tried to call 2 times and they said someone will call me back but past 4pm now and still no call. My throat is very sore. And I’m so sick. What’s the point of going to the doctor if it’s like this? Very frustrating.
Brought my 6 month old baby in as she was having high fevers, vomiting and diarrhoea was told she has gastro and to rest at home and keep hydrated etc. Brought her in almost a week later with same symptoms except for tummy pain, again said was gastro but no one else in the family had caught it. Doctor then said virus and to not let her put anything in her mouth ‍ she then decided to test for urine infection, I brought the sample in the next day to find out a couple of days later it had been lost. New sample given and nearly 2 weeks later she has a mild to moderate urine infection. This was disgusting I get you might be busy but that is unacceptable
There has been a big turnover rate in GPs in the last year, with not much effort on continuity of care. Someone wrote a review around a year ago and got a response that the focus would be returning to the care of patients as they could reduce the focus on pandemic response commitments but unfortunately this doesn’t seem to be the case. Several of the doctors who have started in the last few months haven’t continued the welcoming, helpful, family focused care that this clinic used to provide, and I haven’t had any doctors really listen to my medical needs - instead have had blunt comments and constant barriers even to just get my regular medications. The exception is that the nurses have continued to be friendly and have done as much as possible to help.
I have difficulty just getting my ongoing medication ill be taking forever to manage heart failure, all meds iv had for years now,yet doctors tell me can't do repeat Rx without checkup in clinic, blood pressure check, that's it..., all after being told to request regular meds online,..recently realised you can read clinicians notes after any appointment, through online portal 'Manage My Health' try it sometime, mine had serious inconsistencies And to the WeCare Wigram owners reply to a review from Brett Adams clearly he wanted to seek counseling, you dont decide where he gets his counseling or with whom, that is the patients private and personal decision!! There is no responsibility on you the gp, to provide the counseling or counseling services or offer private services if your not qualified at a random inflated price!?, nor let any of this affect your approval of said referral he originally asked for. This is not weather your a CSC clinic or NOT as you claim, your not a private clinic so it's a patients right to use one if needs. You say he received more care than warranted, without charging extra, how much does an appointment with all appropriate and relevant care cost? Does the consultation fee start at baseline with more due care for extra fee? I'm changing clinics after reading that reply. Recent standard and treatment has become unsettling. To even attempt to degrade and attack the patient for his review in hostile way and label him a liar!! Disgusting This is not the kiwi way.
