Honestly I have never experienced a rude receptionist until today. This lady humiliated me and turned me away now I do not want to return because I fear I will be treated horribly again. This is a shame because I just want to get some help! With the multiple bad reviews about the receptionist isn’t this painting a picture!!?
Ive been coming here for years, yet I had a receptionist snap at me over the phone this morning. This is the first time ive ever had this happen. I rung up and stated that I have ran out of an very important medication I'm on by mistake. She snapped back in a disgusting tone, " I DONT KNOW". I said, "sorry? Ive ran out of an important medication I'm on by mistake as its exam week and its slipped my mind by accident" She continued to have a go at me, even though the medication I'm on is for my anxiety Cheers for the panic attack
I am unfortunate in that I have to attend this place. Clearly this is an exceptionally toxic manger in place who is destroying anything good in this health centre and has zero idea how to operate a health centre. Some staff are great, it's the management that is really dragging it down. Remove them! Is this the worst doctor in Christchurch? It would be close. Terrible service, aweful management, and really poor business practices.
It's a hit and miss whether you'll be treated nicely by the receptionists. It's a shame because the place is always super tidy, the medical treatment is awesome, its the front of desk that is the biggest issue.
Receptionists are extremely rude. With the amount of negative reviews mentioning this you would assume that there would be actioned taken against this by UC ‍
Referral was sent in almost 2 months ago. No communication to myself or my doctor. My voice message was ignored then my email was also ignored, reception rudely told me they never got it? My doctor never had any response either. Hard to believe all forms of contact made didn’t exist on their end. When I called and talked to them they said the waiting list was full so they denied my application. Communication goes a long way, it’s just added more time to get a diagnosis that I’ve been waiting months for
Receptionists are pretty hit or miss. But the worst reception I’ve experienced
Dropped off my enrolment form and asked if they had any appointments later in the day. Told us to go outside and call reception to see if any appointments were available because we weren’t allowed to be inside. Called reception outside, waiting through a long automated message, talked to a woman at reception who said they wont accept me for any appointments because I just handed my form in. Why wasn’t I just told that in the first place? Ridiculous to make me do that and has left a really bad first impression about the staff
4 out of 5 stars to the doctors and nurses 2.5 out of 5 stars to the receptionists. Had been dealt with this health centre for couple of times. The doctors and nurses were friendly and happy to help. Thumb up for them. But the receptionists were not good as I thought. Some of them seemed like they had a bad night sleep before getting onto work, and they were unwilling to talk. No smile and no greetings upon arrival. so the overall rating is 3.25, which rounded up to 3.
The doctors are always running late, the one day I was late and informed the receptionist I would be 5 mins late, ensuring that it be okay to come at 4:05 instead of 4:00. I was forced to rebook the appointment even though the doctor I was booked in for was still in an earlier appointment, me being late made no difference to the doctors running time. They do not value the time of others at all.
