Had such an amazing experience doing the Haggas Honking Holes! Joel, Amy and Hagan were all fantastic guides. Such an epic experience unlike any other I’ve ever done. How lucky are we to have such amazing natural caves in NZ to explore! Highly recommend these guys
We did the haggas Honking tour with Joel. Never a dull moment! Joel was patient, professional and supportive all the way, doing a great job to ensure our continued survival. Got to drink some cave water. Good stuff. You can see glowworms right up in your face and feel like the BBC unlike some caves where they are quite a distance away. Gear provided was great. Recommend tighter boots than necessary, mine kept getting pulled off by the strong water current. As for the wetsuit, make sure you still can reasonably lift your leg while standing. Otherwise it will be hard for mobility. Great if you have some climbing experience. Preferably not afraid of heights/enclosed spaces, or you may hold up the whole group. Heard it gets booked up real fast in summer!

We had a great time with Scott on the Lost World four hour tour. He made us feel safe the whole time. It was a great adventurous trip with a lot of fun abseiling down and hiking through the cave and also being able to see the glowworms. The harnesses felt super safe the whole time and helped allay any fears. Highly recommend!
Waitomo Adventures caving trips are some of the best experiences you can have in your life!! I have done them all and I keep comming back! The 7 hour epic is unforgettable and the staff are incredibley experienced and helpful! The jolly owner always has a joke up his Sleeve! I can't wait to go again soon!
