Waitahanui Lodge

Had a lovely couple of nights here in early July. The couple Anthony and Bron are wonderful and location is brilliant. The cabins are nice and cozy. We were warm and comfortable even at 0 degree temperatures. Will be coming back. The cookies and trout were a lovely touch. Thanks so much.

Great old school kiwi bach charm. Our cabin was metered from the lake edge. This place would be great for large family groups sharing a number of cabins as they have an excellent covered communal area.

Like advertised ain't the Ritz but clean comfortable has all you need bonus lovely hosts .It is right on the lake and if you are lucky the host will share their smoked trout awesome

Anthony and Bron were lovely hosts, providing helpful tips on local activities and a special touch to the experience. The room was fantastic, with a Lakeview and super clean. The cookies and milk were a nice touch! Great memories and very happy with our experience.
