I guess it should be one of those amazing spaces. The architecture design is Kiwi eclectic with strong Maori and Pacific influences. It's tidy and clean inside and out. It is an amazing space for old and young to have a quiet space to study or just relax.
The book selection is limited due to the size of the library, but the staff are really friendly and alway ready to assist with all sorts of inquiries. The kid section is fun and our kids love hanging out in that area.
Awesome. Quiet. Beautiful building. Staff are very kind and helpful. Was able to pop in while on vacation and crunch out a project that had unexpectedly come due.
A beautiful local library on Waiheke. This is a convenient place for tourists on the way back from exploring the island. There’s a washroom and free wifi to use.
Range of books is wide and well sorted and the staff are very friendly and helpful
The place and the staff is great. The only VERY annoying thing are the kids that use the library building as a skate park EVERY DAY. It is really hard to concentrate anywhere in the library because they surround it. They are really noissy jumping and hitting the floor with their skates. Everybody seems to accept and tolerate this, please, there should be signs, it is not a skatepark. It is supposed to be a quiet place.
It was great it’s so quite and my kids loved to do the activities in the kids section
Excellent place, well organised with clean image.
Found the staff super helpful. They didn't have a copy of what I wanted, so printed one off
1 Toilet for everyone YUK, the place is full of screaming kids with mothers treating it like a creche, DO NOT expect to read in peace here.
