We arrived at the Volare late yesterday afternoon, just before closing, after a long drive from Rotorua. The shelves were almost empty by the time we got there. We quickly chose three types of bread, and with just one bite, we were amazed! We rushed back into the store to buy more and were warmly welcomed with great surprises. We absolutely love Volare! Even though it’s far away, we will definitely come back again in the future.
We love Volare! We found it on the first morning of our short trip to Northern NZ. We assumed it would be a one-time coffee shop that merely gave us a much-needed caffeine boost. This “one-time” event turned into us visiting almost all of their locations in three days. From some of the best pastries on this planet to amazing cappuccinos, my words are but a pale shadow of how great Volare is. Go indulge and imbibe!
Good friendly staff. Hot chocolate is nice.nI wanted to have the Tomato and lentil soup but I was very surprised they serve it in a take away cup the drinking cup for drinks. It's not even welcoming to have a soup in a take away cup.nnFoods are served very cold and they can not heat it up. So we have to take it home to heat it up properly.nnIn conclusion, hot drinks, very cold food and soups served in a take away drinking cups. Won't come again and waste my money.nAm not sure how they got their awards that was filling the walls of the place.nMaybe their breads are good, I haven't tried them. But I know they will be served cold.
Simply the best carrot cake in New Zealand, so delicious, huge slices slathered in lush cream cheese, nuts, seeds and dried fruit!! Other products are all great. We love the sourdough bread which freezes well, so we always buy a few at a time. Hubby loves the sausage rolls. Filled sandwiches also yum. You cant go wrong buying bread and food from Volare.
