Large selection of food, it was a pit stop for the fam as we made our way to Rotorua.nnPaua Pie and Corn beef Pie 3.5/5 - they were nice but not my jamnnPotato top pie 3.5/5nnGood service, I'd def come back to try something else though.
Omg, so I got the palusami pie, the corned beef and cabbage pie and a pot of raw fish. My mate got the paua pie which I ate half of anyway. Personally, the palusami pie was hands down the freaking best!! But they were all really yummy. I cant wait to go back and try the boil up pie, the scallop pie
Definitely worth it. I’m From Brisbane and it’s definitely worth the $$ . Paua pie was delicious.nJust need more seating space to seat and enjoy the delicious meals.
Bit far from my place went there only because of a review from tiktok.nGot a corn beef pie.$8 . Filled the gap..kind off not sure if i would buy it again. Nice place over all. Will go back to try the other pies.my rating may change if the other pies are better
This place is for seafood lovers and those wanting to try something different/new. We came down from auckland and got a range of things. I was surprised to see how affordable they were. With the most expensive being the large Kina pie, $14.50.nnI have never tried cooked kina before and was not a fan, but it was still fun to try. Loved the paua and scallop pie the most. Wasn't keen on the cooked oyster pie either, but I'm glad I tried it. The pausami pie was good, and so was the seafood. Love how they didn't all have the same gravy/creamy sauce inside. They all had their own taste to them. Raw fish didn't have lemon and has capsicum, which I personally didn't like. But some people do love it this way.nnIt's definitely worth checking out if you love seafood and you're down this way.
