Vietnam Cafe

Back again to our favourite Vietnamese restaurant in Auckland the “Vietnam Cafe located at 38 Atkinson Avenue, Otahuhu, Auckland 1062 New Zealand.” This restaurant never fails to disappoint. A young gentleman promptly gave us a table & served us as soon as we walked in. We ordered a prawn rice noodle soup for hubby, my usual rice noodle beef ball soup, our hot served spring rolls 2 serves & 2 x pineapple smoothies! Deliciously cooked and my husband’s favourite rice noodle broth. Staff are always polite & kind to everyone who walks into their restaurant. Highly recommended. I’ll be back here with more family on my next visit to New Zealand.

Local favourite. Tasty Shrimp rice noodle soup missed pic opportunity, Spare ribs are pretty good & thee best fried spring rolls & wontons. Wheelchair friendly, lots of seating with extra parking out back. Hygiene has improved!

Visited the Vietnam Cafe today with my family, the food is always delicious, never disappointed when I visit. Staff are always hospitable, kind and welcoming. The establishment is spacious, the Cafe is always busy. I love their deep fried won tons, spare rib soup, deep fried spring rolls, Shrimpball noodle soup and won ton soup. I personally recommend you try this spot once. Parking: There is ample parking towards the back of the building.

Delicious! My partner has come here for many years and I tried it for the first time and wow very yummy definitely diamond in the rough. Prices are great for the amount you receive and staff are friendly.

Have the pork rib with sausage on rice. It was ok, not really a rib but a pork chop. It was too orange colour. Not really Vietnamese restaurant, mixed up Chinese more. Overall not too bad.

Have not been over 15 years and the food is still the same which is good as I loved the dishes. Went as a group of 6 people and we enjoyed our meals. Sooo good and still a popular place to eatFood: 5/5

That's a traditional Vietnam Cafe with valuable food price and wonderful customer service. As a food person, that is the best Vietnam food l have ever eaten in AKL !!Food: 5/5

The food was delicious. I had sampled from a variety of dishes that were ordered for a group of 5 people. The food I had was Curry Chicken egg noodles which was a generous meal for 1 person. Chicken breast was very tender and the taste was unique in spices I have not sampled before. The beverage of choice was the hot tea provided which cleansed the palate with the different selection of meals chosen by each individual in our group. The staff were hardworking and catering to each table in the restaurant due to its popularity amongst the locals and frequent visitors. Enjoyed the experience. Will look forward to coming back for another delicious meal in the near future. Parking: Plenty of parking across the road in the public car park.

Trying to find parking if driving can be a challenge as very limited parking at front. There is parking at the back gets full on the busy times. Once in side spacious dinning area . Baby high chairs available as well as toilets. I ordered the curry chicken noodle soup which was nice . Good portions soup was ok. Also the wontons were delicious and crunchy the way I like them. Coconut smoothie Prices compared to other Vietnamese restaurants I have been to is very worth the price. They even have fortune cookies 3 for a dollar.

Came here with some after a workout. Menu selection was decent and prices were really affordable. I had the Beef stew on rice at it delicious - generous portion size and only $17. There was actually quite a bit of meat on the plate, and a healthy serving or carrots - both of which I love. The service was mixed. The waiters were not very friendly, but the service was very efficient. We were all serves with food within 10 minutes of ordering. I will be returning here again! Parking: Plenty of public parking available opposite the road.
