Blokart (land yacht) and Driftkart Hire. Two choices of outrageous fun on 3 wheels! Winter hours Thursday to Sunday and open by arrangement Monday to Wednesday.

Story

Two purpose built tracks. Suitable for all the family from 8 yrs to 80+. Wind powered blokart land yachts and electric motor powered driftkarts. Great for individuals, groups, birthdays, corporate events, etc. Full tuition provided. It's fun, it's easy, it's exciting! Blokart hire $30 for 30 minutes per person, driftkart hire $25 for a 10 minute drift sessions.
NOTE during Winter hours we are open Thursday to Sunday and "Open by Arrangement" from Monday to Wednesday, essentially for groups of 6 or more or smaller groups doing 1 hour blokart hire or combos of driftkart and blokart.

We attended Velocity Karts as our away day for Camp Purple Live 2023. The team were very accommodating, setting up extra activities to keep our large group entertained. We had to postpone for 1 year but Ian allowed us to shift the date to suit us. Amazing venue and the kids all had a ball!
Extreme adventure! Not for faint-hearted like me . Booked for 30mins dual ride with a dear friend however after 15mins, I couldn’t take it anymore. I felt like dying . Awesome ride, full of excitement. Heads up though make contact directly with owner as this activity is dependent on wind. He will send you a text message if unable to carry on. You can reschedule or ask for reimbursement instead if unsuccessful. Good service. Keep it up. See you next time.
Great afternoon out for a large workgroup. Lots of fun and variety of events to keep everyone doing something fun. Good little setup of picnic benches where we brought in lunch and had on site. Great staff - high recommend either private or corporate fun day out.

Came here for a work due. Was honestly one of the most fun activities we have ever done as a company, everyone loved it! Ian was very helpful and funny. Amazing experience! It was my first time, but I'm definitely coming back and taking more of my friends with me. It's easily the most exciting and involved cart racing experiences I've had :
We booked the 'Human Foosball' for a group of families with preschool-teenage kids and loved it! Perfect team bonding activity that can be played with a wide range of ages and abilities. Lots of fun, and very cost effective too.
We are a family of 5 with ages ranging from 10-45 years old. I was nervous but the team put us at ease, explained things well and were very safety consious in the gusty winds that occurred. We all had a great time. I enjoyed myself more than I thought I would. Will definitely be back.
My partner and I had an amazing time! It feels like a chill small business and they are very easy going while still safe. I did stack the kart at the very end as I caught the excess rope at my hip and couldn't correct, but I followed the safety pre-videos instruction on what to do and didn't injure myself. They were quick to flip me up and check I was alright... I was embarrassed but they reassured me that even they do it occasionally.
Great people run this business. We came on a day that didn't work out wind wise but they still tried to give us a good experience and refunded our time without us requesting. Would highly recommend trying them out and hopefully you'll get the normally strong winds when you ride :
