What a place ... so beautiful and the girl at the “reception” office ? Whatever .. she was so nice and so courteous...

A building you have to see, if you want to experience what happens if dogma's in architecture are more important then the humans that have to use the building. This concrete structure by Alvaro Siza lacks every possibility to adjust a habitiat to peoples needs. Awesome in its awefullness

Nice place to visit for architecture lovers. I like the library as I visited Porto for the first time and I found quite some nice books for Alvaro Siza’s works there.

If you're interested in Architectural photography you should try to shoot this building. The Faculty of Architecture - University of Porto FAUP provides a service of regular guided tours to the building designed by Álvaro Siza and built between 1985 and 1993. The guided walking tour of FAUP lasts approximately one hour and is led by a current student. Not exactly the best surroundings, but amazing river view.
