Snapper was OK not excellent like other places I have tried, the chips were average. I would have given 4 stars but the drink I purchased had passed its expiration date overall not bad but could improve size and quality.Food: 3/5

Not good. The fish, chips and fritters had a burnt taste, threw most of it out. Pretty expensive for what we ordered too.

Mine and my partners Burgers were extremely soggy and completely fell apart. They use a nondescript frozen patty. Hot dog on a stick's batter was really heavy and quite bready instead of a light crispy thin batter. Chips were ok. Regret eating from here.

Beautiful hoki fish aways nice food same ownership for many years. Great people

The oil needs to be changed, the only thing I enjoyed was the fact my baby loved the crabsticks & my scallop. Other then that I had no positive thoughts on it

This is our regular weekly takeaway. The snapper is always fresh and flaky. The chips are delightful. We wouldn’t go anywhere else. Reasonable prices too and excellent selections on the menu.

Best fish and chips we've have had in a very long time. We ordered 1 x Tarakihi and 2 x Hapuka and a portion of chips for 2 of us and have filled our stomachs. I recommend to order those 2 fish I'll try the snapper next time The fish were great and it was cooked with old school batter which if you are after more fancy gourmet Fish and chips then maybe not for you. Chips were good but could be a little more crispy my personal preference! It's a small family business and you may have to wait a bit but it's worth the wait. He wasn't super friendly but not rude as well. Simple English with thank you and a smile when we were leaving the shop. We were still talking about the food next day so it's showing how much we've enjoyed! We will definitely go back.

Best fish and chips around! The snapper portions are huge … I can feel myself slipping into a food coma already!

Went for the first time yesterday and got two portions of snapper fish and chips. Fish were perfectly done, batter crispy but without being greasy, and the fish moist and tender inside. Chips were also great, well seasoned and tasty without being overly salty. The portions were large and more than enough for two, and all this for under $20! Fantastic value for money, can't recommend enough.

Quality of food not good, worst fish and chips I've ever had. level of service was unfriendly.
