The Vegan pies were super yummy! One of the best vegan pies we've ever tasted. Worth the 2.5 hour trip from Auckland! : Staff was friendly and warm. : Wish there were seats and tables though for dine in. : Definitely going back for the pies and to try their other food and coffee!!! :
My daughter had a pulled pork wrap and a custard slice. The wrap fell flat, lean on pork and lots of salad; the custard slice was OK but very commercial.nI tried to make a selection with dietary requirement, that was impossible. Ordered a coffee and keto ball, both were fine.nNice sofa but no inside tables.nMy wife and son could not find anything so they had to go down the road to find something else.nnSuper disapointing, I have driven by this place in Tairua for years and this was my first chance to go in during their opening hours. The first staff member was very blunt, the second who attempted to engage appeared friendly but we didn't want to engage further by that stage.
Absolutely disgusting service, received from staff/ owner. Staff were plain rude while I had my kids there. Definitely would not recommend this place if you looking for good service. Very disappointed a smile goes along way. If I could give a negative rating I would.
This place has a coffee with a unique flavor which is quite enjoyable.nSome of their sweet slices are also pretty good.
We thought the coffee at Two Tides was the best in Tairua & we loved the pies. Their raspberry lamington was the best we’ve ever had in NZ
