Seafood and ice cream are very delicious and fresh here. We bought fish and scallops, prawns almost every day during 2 weeks' holiday stay, mussel fritter is beautiful too. Shop owners are very friendly and services are fantastic. Very popular shop in the town, good prices and quality, highly recommended!

We had takeaway fish and chips here for dinner. The Hoki fish was okay compared to other fish and chip shops and the chips were a bit greasy rather than on the crispier side. A decent bite though if you are looking for a quick feed in Tairua. Wait times were around 30mins in summer which is expected given the amount of people ordering.
Hey we were on the way to Cathedral cove, ordered the fish&chips pack here for lunch, sit beside the beach 2mins away, we smashed everything I won’t even got chance to take a photo. It is PERFECT, love it
