Just had a meal at Johnny's and holy cow, what a meal. Super friendly staff, excellent shakes, the onion rings were bang on. But the best part was the burger. Excellent taste and temperature, cooked perfectly and a nice lacy patty. Everything was perfect. Whether you’re passing through Tairua or staying the night, you gotta give them a try. I’d even consider driving down from Auckland just to get a meal, it was that good.
Absolutely delicious!! Even on a busy summers day the food didn't disappoint. we pre ordered via phone and it was ready and fresh when we arrived, portion sizes are fantastic and flavours are amazing. We ordered the Johnny's pizza chicken tacos and paua fries the worst part was not being able to finish it all. Highly recommend

Good pizzas and excellent service! Really friendly people and they open late too what a lifesaver! Their Johnny’s pizza is good, so is their Johnny’s Mac sauce. Real fruit ice cream is also a real treat. Highly recommend!
