Nice but long track. Our starting point was the Shotover bridge and we walked all the way to Lake Hayes pavilion. Took as 4h. Clear directions along the way. Some views were amazing and some were just okay. I don't think this track is for everyone but we were happy to have walked it.
The Twin Rivers Trail is a very long track that links Shotover Country, Kawarau bridge, Lake Hayes, Arrowtown and Gibbston.nnI walked from Lake Hayes towards the old Shotover bridge, it took me 45-50 minutes and I didn’t even come close to covering most of the track. The photos here show the signs at the fork / intersection where you can decide where you want to go next.
Amazing trail with dogs.
