A steady climb to the Basket of Dreams monument through a pretty forest. There are good views of Queenstown from here, but it's well the effort to make the summit for the spectacular 360° views, which will greet you up there. It was not a difficult walk. It only took me three quarters of an hour to reach the monument with photo stops on the way
Nice, easy walk that doesn't take too long. There are a few steeper sections, but they’re balanced out by gentler parts where you can catch your breath. Great for beginners or anyone wanting to test their fitness. The view at the top is definitely worth it!
Give this trail a 5 stars . 2 hours in total , not very fit people with ample time for photos along the way. Parking at the bottom, initial 20min was rather steep but don't give up at this point ! Once you hit the basket of dreams you are almost there .
Superb views and well worth the hike! A really enjoyable hike to the summit but be sure to bring a jacket for when you’re on the summit. Stunning views of Queenstown and the airport for the plane spotting enthusiast.
Great hike with amazing views. At the start of the loop take the right side path to go up as the left lath is a steep climb even though it's a shorter distance. Recommend going to the top as it's only about a 15-20 min hike from the basin area and it's well worth it.
