We loved this beautiful track. It’s mostly uphill, so pace yourself and enjoy a slow, steady climb. Along the way, there are a few perfect spots to stop, catch your breath, and snap some great photos. The scenery is full of lush trees and peaceful nature, making the walk as relaxing as it is rewarding. We really enjoyed it and would come back to do it again. You can also bring something cute to put alongside other fairies.
Nice track, fabulous views, easy access and parking not like other ones which need a stronger car. It's just by the city center. You can see the whole Queenstown on the top of the hill. Need to go all the way up and go all the way down.nJust reminding that dogs are not allowed in case someone needs.
Love this hike! My glutes feel it the day after. The last 30% of the hike is quite steep but not dangerous
Just above the city center, about 2.5 km away, but with an elevation gain of about 400 m. A trail mostly in the forest until you reach the summit with a breathtaking view. I recommend continuing on the path for another 400 meters and turning right to reach a rock that overlooks the eastern side for a mesmerizing sunrise.
This hill walking track was absolutely amazing. This walk isn’t for the faint. It is steep 90% of the time coming up. You gotta be in decent shape to make this happen, but it is so worth it when you get to the top.
