Relatively easy and very pleasant walk. Took us less than 15 minutes from car parking sandy bumpy area to the end of the trail at the lookout. Can walk along river rocks a bit if desired or sticky stay on trail. Small rapids and small waterfall. One piece of intact mining equipment below you. It’s not spectacular but worth 30 minutes or less if you time. A bit uphill but not strenuous.
An easy walk for families 10-15m, once you find the actual unpaved road! Stunning scenery and rocks. You get to even watch the paid jet riders in their speed boats go up and down a certain part of the river.
Stunning views of the Shotover River and rocks upstream. Didn't see any tunnels on this short 10-15 minute hike but could have stayed all say.
Not a great walk to be honest. Tons of sandflies. I wouldn’t bother but if you check it out yourself you won’t spend more than 30 minutes.
Short walk to a waterfall, recommend following Google directions to find this as its quite easy to drive past, at first you will think your heading the wrong way but just keep following it, as it is taking you to the right place, and also recommend that you stop driving once you pass the green buildings, their will be a little part were you can park your car, going past this point my led you to getting your car stuck as the sand can become uneven, then walk for 2 minutes and you'll find a little post that will led you on the right path to start walking
