I'm a new customer. Great customer service when I came in. I was treated promptly and directed to what I asked for with a brief description of the product. I found the pricing reasonable. I bought venison and black pudding and both amazing, but the black pudding was just a bit extra yum . I'll be back soon to try the sausages

This is such a nice place. So much food choice to choose from. Just want to buy everything! Big choice of meat, cheese, charcuterie and even desserts. Highly recommend their vegetarian ravioli. So fresh and so many flavours. Add to this a large selection of different "épicerie " products on the shelves. The staff is absolutely lovely. Such a good customer service. Can't wait to comeback.

Came in today and had an unpleasant experience unfortunately. When walking in, the owner/butcher was clearly unhappy about something, telling his colleagues to do something in a relatively unfriendly manner. It's not up to me in how he manages his butchery of course but it made me, as a customer, uncomfortable. Once at the counter, I asked if I can place an order for some beef carpaccio. The lady behind the counter told me that they don't do orders at the moment fair so close to Christmas and told me that, when they have it, I can buy some of course. I asked her when they will have carpaccio, as they normally don't stock it. She kept thinking that I wanted them to make some for me, but that was not what I asked. She started to get irritated, making me feel like I'm an annoying costumer, instead of trying to get a clear picture around what I'm asking for as we clearly had miscommunication. She did ask the butcher in the end if they will make beef carpaccio anytime soon, but the answer was no. Fair, as again, I can understand that they are busy so close to Christmas. As I was walking out, the butcher was mumbling something along the lines of; good that you understand, thank you. Not sure if he meant it in a nice way, but it felt sarcastic to me. I understand that this is a stressful time, but that shouldn't be an excuse to provide average costumer service. I give it 3 stars, as I take in count that it's really close to Christmas and it would be unfair to drop their average rating too much based on one experience I had today. But I don't think I'll return anytime soon, as it felt like a one star experience to me.

Had the most amazing cheesecake of my life from here. Someone brought it to my work, and I had to take a photo of the box so I could track it down and buy some more. Will be perfect for Christmas day I think!! No idea what flavour it was, but raspberry maybe and a dark brown base. Delish!!!

Recently I travel to Christchurch for 5 days with my wife and end up we visited this shop for 3 times. Unbelievable good coffee, nibbles and desserts, super friendly staffs with very warmth customer services. I personally feel this is one of the best experience for me in this trip. I highly recommended to all my friends is a must go since I am back to Auckland. Thank you so much!!!

I came to enquire about GF options and deliveries on pre prepared meals. In other words, get some help for meals to send to a family going through a terminal illness. Next minute I was being shouted at. I really didnt know what the owner was going on about., then he walked off. I couldn't understand his accent and yelling, had no idea what he was going on about. Instead of help I was being yelled at. I was so embarrassed and even another customer came over and said that his behaviour was shocking and she wont be back. I was not questioning the "expense" as he seemed to think, was only wanting help with costs for the number of people i was catering for. I was flabbergasted and upset. Wont ever be back after this appauling customer "service".

A superb selection of meals to take away as well as amazing desserts and gourmet treats. Wonderful choice of meats and cheeses. We depend on Traiteur especially on days when we’re too tired to cook!

Wow, I was very impressed, upon walking in, huge selection of ready made in store meals, butchery meats, etc. I bought some meat, which was cut in front of me to the amount I wanted, and have used it tonight and it tastes incredible! Will definitely be back, love it!

Absolutely the best- the best food and the nicest owners! Maarten always puts a smile on my face! The white chocolate raspberry brownie is the best dessert I’ve ever eaten.

Bought some Toulouse saucisses and saucisson sec...saucisses would have been awesome with more flavour! saucisson sec is amazing!!!
