Affogato Cafe

Cute cafe on the busy Fitzgerald Ave. The staff were extra friendly and at 8am even! and so efficient at what they do. Amazing team at Affogato! I had the blueberry pancakes which were amazing. Nice thick doughy American pancakes and the marscapone, lemon curd and Syrup balanced so nicely with the sweet and tart. Some of the best pancakes in Christchurch in my opinion! My friend had the Smoked Salmon Smash without the pesto no issues with the modification whatsoever and thoroughly enjoyed it. We will both be back again and again. Thanks Affogato Cafe for a wonderful experience!

We stopped by this cafe for a much-needed cuppa after our flight as it was located 300m from our hotel. The cappuccino I ordered was excellent, the cafe was comfortable, and service was friendly. It was the perfect welcome to the city. I do wish we could have tried the food as well as it looks delicious too.

Great location on Bealey Ave. The cafe is very cozy and warm! The staff were very welcoming and food were stunning. We had a bacon and chorizo smash and corn beef hash with two eggs and some hollandaise sauce. The dishes had familiar flavour but with unique looking - We really enjoyed their food. Highly recommended. We also ordered a flat white unfortunately the coffee was a bit burnt… the milk was ok.

Just enjoyed a delicious breakfast, with HUGE pieces of salmon through our breakfast. Extremely tasty food, coffee and friendly staff. Fully recommended!

I had a difficult morning. Their full breakfast, brownie and coffee have made everything better. Their service and smile are great too . I’ll come back even I don’t have to come to southern cross hospitals.

We knew this place through grabone and this place is absolutely amazing for breakfast and brunch. With the grabone voucher, the price is soooo good as you only pay $15 for the $30 voucher. This place definitely become my regular place to go. Yummy food

Of all the times I've been there today was the first time I was a little disappointed. The meal was it's usual standard but the coffee was the let down. It felt as if it was made in the sun on a summers day in was not hot but warm at best.

Bought the grabone voucher as it was very cheap, went there for brunch and was blown away by how delicious the food was... The eggs beni is probably one of the best I've ever tried, and the full breakfast was very filling too. If you're not sure where to go for breakfast or brunch, come down to Affogate Cafe!!
