Been here for a drink years ago, not been back since until friends told us they do a nice Sunday Roast. Being dog friendly was a bonus too. Great staff on entering and during the visit. Only issue was took 20 mins+ to get the plates taken away for the roasts. Have to say the Sunday Roast was one of the nicest we've had in a very long time!!! Yorkshire pudding wasn't rock hard like it is in most places, carrots and Roast potatoes had great flavours to them, big pieces of beef too. We had a 2 course deal for both of us, it was £24 each. Bill came to £77 in tota including 10% surchargel!!! Can see why alot of people can't afford to go out for a meal much these day we didn't even have any alcohol!!!
We held our wedding reception at Three Little Words in May 2024 after having several lovely meals and more importantly gins here and noting impeccable service and a beautiful venue. We hired the venue privately for 70 guests eating in a sit down meal and holding a total of 110 guests by evening for drinks and dancing. The first thing to note would be the incredible team that run Three Little Words. Despite not being solely a wedding venue, the organisation and accommodation that came from the team was second to none and if you are considering TLW as a wedding venue, the added flexibility of using a non traditional wedding reception is a real advantage with no strict supplier lists and openness with menu requests. On the build up to the wedding, Chloe and Kirsty the event planning team were incredible. They regularly communicated with me and made sure all of the finer details for our reception were noted and accommodated. The TLW's team incl Chef, Bar Manager were very honest and transparent throughout planning giving advice with costings and knowledge from their experience on the best way to run the day with timings to get the most out of their team. So many guests on the day said how good the food and drink was. Our vegan guests said they had never been so well accommodated and other friends said they had never been so well fed/it was the best wedding food they had ever had. We had the Sunday Roast as our main and it went down a treat for everyone. The portion was a great size and made sure nobody was too tipsy! The bar staff were amazing, with lots of friends saying how attentive and friendly the service was. We truly couldn't find a fault with the team. Thank you so much Three Little Words!
I have visited Three Little Words on numerous occasions and every time I have had a great time. They now do a lunch menu so why not a better time to visit! The food, service and atmosphere is great, you can actually have a conversation with friends in here. Faye is always very pleasant and welcomes you with open arms.Food: 5/5
We had an amazing time at Three Little Words doing the gin tasting with Harry. It was amazing, fun and we learned a lot about Gin. We were also amazed by the drinks and the friendly bartenders mixing them. Took some Gin back home to enjoy! Definitely will be back when in Manchester!Service: 5/5
Oh wow so underrated what a fabulous Sunday roast dinner. Old traditional yummy goodness great portion sizes, just so tasty yummy goodness. Best Porchetta I’ve eaten in a long time. Manchester u have to try the Porchetta Sunday roast Dinner at Three Little WordsFood: 5/5
I had friends up visiting from London who are accustomed to good cocktails and we all really rated our experience here. We stopped in after a day out sightseeing so were only casual and only intended to stay for one drink, but ended up staying for a couple more so we could try more from the menu. Our server really knew the cocktail menu and was able to help us work out what we would and wouldn’t like. Bar snacks were very moreish, we had frickles and seasoned fries. Good background music as well. Will definitely be back next time I’m in town for afternoon drinks.
Amazing little place for cocktails. It’s our go to with my girlfriend. Service staff is always welcoming and there is a cocktail for everyone. Bear in mind the prices are on the higher end, I suppose this is due to them mainly serving cocktails and not other stuff. Atmosphere is also great
Attended the make your own gin and tasting experience. Harry Osborne the host was extremely informative, knowledgeable and extremely personable. Highly recommend the experience and the Three Little Words establishment.Atmosphere: 5/5
Given the price it charged, I’d say not worth it as we found things just average, not exceptional. We had sunday roast there and each had a alcohol drink. Service wise, the waiter was nice but the lady showed us to our table was not very friendly. Food wise, the Yorkshire pudding was over-baked, browny and bitter. The pork roast has its fastening string unremoved -see photos . Squash mash too moist. Service charge is only 10%, but we still spent £30 per person for a Sunday roast lunch. very nice interior decor
The most amazing cocktail bar. Innovative drinks menu and flavor combinations/ingredients, great decor, very friendly service and what's more many of the spirits made in the onsite distillery. Highly recommended and will go again when next in Manchester
