The Meteor is a Hamilton theatre for all performing arts, operated by the One Victoria Trust, for the benefit of the entire Waikato community.

Story

The Meteor theatre is one of Hamilton’s treasures. It remains the the biggest and best black box theatre in New Zealand. In 2013, the Hamilton City Council, in a visionary act, offered the theatre to the One Victoria Trust, to be used for the benefit of the entire Hamilton / Waikato performing arts community.

The Meteor is a fantastic venue. Such a good environment and friendly people. Went along for our first post-Covid show and they had plenty of tracking posters.
