What a cool space! The cafe has limited cabinet food and plenty of drinks but the location and set up is what is so charming about this spot. Excellent customer service too, how nice is it to be greeted by a cheerful and helpful person, thanks team!nThere is a fish n chips shop next door - high quality and the cafe allows you to bring their food into their cafe, what a beautiful collaboration!
Taking a break from taking a break nnIt was so hot, and I got such a sunburn, that I just wanted to relax somewhere with a nice view.nnSitting on the wharf, watching the beautiful water and bird life gulls, terns, and cormorant while enjoying a frozen coffee and a custard slice, was just what the doctor ordered.nnI ordered a caramel slice to eat there and a macadamia nut brittle for take away. Somewhere some confusion happened and I got a caramel slice, and a custard slice, and a brittle. Nice for a tea break later that night.nnIt was nice looking out over the wharf, but I couldn't sit too long on the bench as an older and bigger person. It became a bit uncomfortable on my back.nnThere was plenty of parking and a lot of great looking food and treats in the cabinet. The staff were very friendly and my order came very quickly.
You know, we probably missed out not taking fish & chips to the wharf side, but if we hadn't we'd not have experienced the excellent chowder. You just can't win. And it's a good job it was a warm day or the mocha frappé would have been missed. We're going to have to stop by again aren't we?

This charming little spot right off the road turned out to be a true surprise. It was absolutely worth pulling over—just to sit by the water, watch the local birds fuss about, and see quiet yachts glide by as if they were part of some slow, dreamy parade. The salmon cheese quiche was outstanding, and the chowder with warm, freshly baked bread and butter exceeded every expectation. And that sip of cappuccino, dusted with chocolate on top, carried me straight into a tiny pocket of magic.
