WOW - Friday night - Absolutely wonderful crispy battered juicy fish. Maybe the best i ever remember. Could not fault all the food. Took advantage of the in house seating which was great to watch a well oiled team in action before our meal. Was a little warm and a ceiling fan or 2 wouldn't go amiss. Staff were professional and friendly. Young girl on the counter had a contagious smile and was awesome with all the customers i saw come in.
Ive eaten alot of fish and this is the smallest fish I've ever been served. Would have been 100grams of snapper for $10. Absolutely embarrassing have thrown back bigger snapper
The codfish and chips was very very good and I am from the Pacific Northwest in the USA so I’ve tasted a ton of fish and chips. The french fries were tasty as well. The service and the atmosphere is very nice. The only thing that I think is absolutely crazy is you have to buy ketchup and tartar sauce for like $2.50 each. I’ve never gone to a place that serves fish and chips where you have to buy the tartar sauce and the ketchup. Seems absolutely crazy.
Greeting was a bit flat... maybe a language and or culture barrier. The Fish, clean and did not smell fishy old. Yet my husband did mention it tasted funny. Very oily!! Nearly $28 for curry roll, 2 deep sea cod, hotdog and 1 scoop. Seems average price... for less than average food and service. Very popular place though.
Best to call in Takeaway orders as they can get busy. Our white cod and chips was very good, everything tasty and crisp.
