There are great views of the plaza and Rabbit Island. The staff was friendly and fast. The Beef Burger is delicious and a good size. The Bombay Masala Melt has a slightly sweet taste but very savory with good texture.
Fantastic views and a great location. We ordered fish a chips assuming it would be freshly made, unfortunately the fish seemed to have be frozen battered fish and the chips were more like cheap fast food fries. For this price it was totally unacceptable.
Often I visit on my short holiday stints in Nelson. Easy drive from Nelson. A great place to dine indoor/outdoor overlooking the sea with my family. Delicious food. Excellent service. Always a treat eating here. The affogato is refreshing.nPauliney Lynn
We come to Mapua when we’re in Nelson yearly, have been to this place under previous owners some time ago now.nFair to say not what it was, the food whilst ok does not do justice to the location, risotto was average, fish and chips were average whilst the fish was fresh.nStaff were great
We went on a public holiday and expected a surcharge. There were plenty of staff and the place was busy. The atmosphere was good and the views lovely. However the bill of 43 for 2 coffees, a hot chocolate and three muffins was not. My muffin had a hair in it and my wife returned to her coffee. The replacement was much better. We did expect a bit better given the reviews.
