Simple exquisite, good value, great place to spend the day unforgettable experiences here highly recommended!

Very crowded during peak season winter. I went in July 2019 and the locker area was filled up pretty quickly. Be there early to secure a locker for the day. The cafe was also filled up during lunch hour, and the food is not exactly cheap NZ$45 for fish and chips and soup of the day, and a cup of coffee.

Summer time! Rated high as the drive up there is awesome. Well worth your 10 bucks. Take some warm clothes...its freezing up the top

Scott our teacher as we were first timers was amazing! He definitely made learning and skiing super fun. Very patient and always had us in laughing fits. Fun experience overall!

What a great walk up to Lake Alta! Was gutted to leave my drone controller behind after falling from my camera bag but the trip was enjoyable regardless. The walk was rather easy and not too cold until the summit. Would love to do again and take my 10 year old next season.

Great for beginners! Quite a few different slopes with varying difficulties. The hike up Shadow Basin to the peak is fantastic! Amazing views over Queenstown centre. Highly recommend spending at least 3 days at these fields to get the hang of it and really enjoy the different tracks. Sugar Bowl is great once you've mastered Alta.

Be prepared for the steep winding road up the mountains 20 mins. Was feeling giddy and nauseous driving up. Would have been better if there is a easier way up. Ski slopes were great for beginners, although not all slopes are open yet.
