The Red Fort Indian Restaurant & Bar

Have been wanting to try this place as it has some different things on the menu! I had Onion Bhaji to start very good then a Lamb Razila very full of flavour and a strong garlic and cheese naan. Service was friendly and quick.

We had not been to The Red Fort before, so thought we'd try it out on Friday night. It was huge hit with our family! The staff were very friendly and attentive - offered childrens menu options, recommendations, and came and checked that we were happy with our meals. The lamb saag was one of the best I'd ever had and the children loved the butter naan. We will definitely be back.

Having dined at quite a number of establishments serving indian cuisine in Auckland I am really disappointed to say that this is probably the least desirable. Food was extremely salty.... to the point that it was barely edible. The naan was thick and soggy... not light and crisp as one would expect. Almost as if it was made earlier and then reheated... which I hope was not the case. The worst part is that the restaurant was empty so we cannot use it being busy as the reason. A really disappointing and costly evening.

Ordered the butter chicken online through Uber eats! AND OH MY GOD, not only was the food delicious but they added a little lolly bag for the wait!… 20 minutes! No wait at all. Am in absolute awh! Will be ordering again!!!

Had a fantastic meal, one of the best curry! Order came wrong but they admitted mistake and provided no charge, great service too.
