Stayed here during my travels. The room and facilities couldn't be faulted. You're a nice stroll distance in to town for a coffee or meal. Dave, the owner is very friendly and extremely helpful. He takes care of everything himself and does an awesome job. Highly recommend staying here and will certainly be back in the future. Thanks Dave for a great stay
We loved our stay at the Olive Motel. It was spotless and very comfortably set up. The beds were great, and the shower and tub perfect. The location is great for walking into Coromandel Town for all the restaurants and town hikes. Huge bonus if you like tennis or pickleball; there is a tennis court next door with an honor box to pay $2 per person. Would definitely stay again and happy to recommend this accommodation.
Just spent 2 nights at this very nice, clean Motel. David was a fantastic host. The Motel is situated within a very short walk to all the restaurants & stores. Would definitely recommend staying at this place if ever in Coromandel Town.
We were lucky to find the last room at the Olive Motel. The room was really clean, has good cooking facilities, excellent bathroom, and all the shows you can watch on the large TV. The air conditioning was a plus, even though we didn’t need to use it. It was fully booked that night but we didn’t hear any noise from other guests, so sound proofing is good!nThe location is good too, a short walk to the town centre, where there are quite a few good cafés and restaurants.nWe had a great welcome and excellent communication from David, the owner. Nothing seems too much of a problem for him: we left a pair of sandals behind and not only he found them but he will also mail them once the post shop will reopen after the public holidays!nThank you so much for a great stay and I hope you get that Peugeot of your dreams!
We were blown away at how clean and tidy Olive Motel was, we had the best stay! Lovely comfortable beds, bathroom immaculate, loved the spa bath. Very spacious family unit with everything we needed, very short walk to town. It is obvious David is a very proud motel owner who takes great care and attention to detail, thank you, we will be back.
