Harbour View Motel

It’s all about the amazing location with a million dollar view. It was simply stunning. So don’t book here for 5 star luxury book because of the view from the deck which was unbeatable. The motel manager was laid back and very accommodating.

The VIEW is Amazing! I’ve been in NZ for 3 weeks & this is our favorite lodging. The rooms are big & kitchen is super useful. Jocelyn, the hostess really cares about her guests & went out of her way to ensure our Mother / Son visit was wonderful :

A great place to stay. Rooms are dated but clean and you have all you need. Great view off the balcony. Only negative would be very low water pressure in the shower made hair washing a challenge.

Great view but this accommodation is very tired & needs updating. Parking is tight, spacious unit with twin beds in separate bedroom & double & single in main living room. Unfortunately toilet wasn't working properly & after explaining this twice over 3 night stay with no improvement & having to drive to town to use public toilet, that was unacceptable. There was alot of cobwebs & spiders.

Spacious room 1 queen 3 twins with basic kitchen and kitchenware -- great for families. Check in was a breeze with Ross the owner. Place had a lot of charm read their guest info book, gave us a few laughs! Amazing view from deck. When in summer with African lillies in full bloom from the deck attached to room was gorgeous. We could have stayed on the deck for the entire time eating fish and chips! Would definitely stay here again if in the region.
