Harbour view motel coromandel

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. The view over the harbour was worth the price alone. My only criticism was the bed was a bit firm. This seems to be common in most places I stay, so I guess I'll have to get used to it.Rooms: 4/5

Very amazing hotel with a great view. The rooms were large, and the kitchen was well equipped. They also had kayaks and spades for rent, free of cost! The only issue was that a few insects like wetas and ants.Rooms: 5/5

Fantastic View, very friendly folks running the place. Rooms are dated but comfortable and warm. If you are going to stay in Coromandel Town the this is THE place for a great view when you wake up and of course to sit in the evening sun on the veranda and enjoy your wine.Rooms: 3/5

A very nice motel in coromandel. The location is convenient, you can go anywhere including beach side nearby, the only t&c is you need a car. Room equipped with all the guess needs. Like itRooms: 5/5

Arrived and Met Ross. Knew then that everything would be just what we needed/wanted. Top Kiwi Bloke. Had a Day away from Auckland to do the Train Ride and Zipline and Harbourview Motel was A++. Rooms great size. View and deck just right. BED, best night's sleep ever, even mentioned to Owner Jos when leaving. Everything that was needed was there. So Ticks and thumbs up for everything. Close to everything. Smiles all round. Glad the big boat didn't park round the back. Saw it come in when going to town lol. Thanks Ross and Joss - You have a great place to stay. Really nice motel/hotel on a beautiful place. Great rooms, all with perfect view. It‘s a very nice walk to coromandel town, only about 20-30 minutes through beautiful bush. Also the price was very fair, would stay again!Rooms: 5/5

My recent stay at the Harbour View Motel was an unexpected delight. Arriving after a long journey, we were prepared to settle for anything, but our host had a pleasant surprise in store for us. Upon check-in, the host initially showed us to the room I had originally booked. It was a nice room, but what truly made our stay special was when he offered to upgrade us to a room with a breathtaking view of the harbor, all at no extra charge. This unexpected gesture immediately set a positive tone for our stay. The upgraded room was nothing short of fabulous. It was notably larger than our original booking, providing us with more space to relax and unwind. But the real showstopper was the view. From our window, we were treated to a magnificent vista of the harbor, which was truly a sight to behold. Watching the changing colors of the sunset was a highlight of our stay. The breakfast at the Harbour View Motel was sufficient and reasonably priced, offering a variety of options to suit different tastes. It was a great way to start our day and fuel up for our adventures in the area. Our host at the motel had a wonderful sense of humor, making us feel welcome and at ease throughout our stay. His friendly demeanor added a personal touch to our experience and made us feel like valued guests. In terms of cleanliness, the room was spotless, and we felt comfortable and safe during our entire stay. This attention to cleanliness was especially reassuring given the ongoing concerns about health and hygiene. Overall, our stay at the Harbour View Motel exceeded our expectations. Fantastic accommodation beautiful view lovely outdoor view from the balcony, clean & comfortable. Amazing owners, Awesome service as I forgot my pillow & they delivered it the next day from Coromandel to Thames. Totally recommended Rooms: 5/5
