Coromandel Colonial Cottages Motel is a historic property with individual 1 & 2
bedroom fully self contained, colonial style cottages set in 1.5 acres of park-like
gardens.

All cottages are ground floor with own front porch, rear carport parking and bush
views. They have Sky TV, Wifi & telephones. The 2 bedroom cottages sleep up
to 6 people & are spacious with full kitchen facilities, a large lounge dining area &
the toilet is separate to the bathroom. The 1 bedroom cottages sleep 1-2 people,
have a large lounge dining area, kitchen with double cook top, microwave &
fridge & spacious bathroom with toilet & shower.

We have a solar heated swimming pool (Summer), children’s playground with
swings, slide,trampoline & out door table tennis table, a large BBQ area, a
fish cleaning area & ample boat parking.

Loved it here. So comfortable, cozy, peaceful and homely. Pool was great for the family! Nice place to chill out when not exploring Coromandel. 10 minute walk to town. If we ever go back to Coromandel, I'm going back here to stay :
Wow, what a fabulous find. We were warmly greeted by Jeanette and her husband and shown our cabin. What a lovely surprise, spacious, clean with every need thought through. Great comfortable beds, quality bedding and so very quiet. We will definitely come back again. Well done hosts.Rooms: 5/5
Clean and tidy, spacious the 2 room cottages. The pool is well maintained, deep at one end so watch the kids. There is a laundry with washer and dryer which take $2 coins. The decor and appliances are dated but in good condition. A few improvements to what is supplied, like some filtered chilled water, salt & pepper and oil, would make a world of difference. It looks like it’s for sale and I hope it gets some kaitiaki who can breathe some fresh air into it as it’s got lots of potential.
I would definitely come back here again. All 5 of us were very impressed with our cottages for size, cleanliness and the fact that there was everything that you could want in each Cottage. Ample parking and a swimming pool, separate laundry and barbecue area a bonus. Excellent prices well
Lovely friendly staff awesome quite location excellent clean tidy cottage.Cottage was like a tiny house with everything you need to have a beautiful relaxing time.And nothing is a problem to the host .Hope to be back next winter.A+++Rooms: 5/5
The hotel facilities are superb. My kids love the playground too bad we did not managed to try the Swimming pool and bbq pit. We only stayed for one night and we were lucky enough to experience power shortage which is not common by NZ standard. The hotel owner was very helpful with candles provided. My boy left his watch behind when we left. The lady owner post the watch back to Auckland just in time. On the day we were leaving NZ. Thank you for great hospitality and assisting in returning my boy’s watch. Always a pleasure to visit NZ and be amazed.
This is a great motel. It felt like a little house with a large lounge. Fantastic for kids, great play area and good sized pool. Fish cleaning area as well as bbq for guests. Owners very nice friendly people. Loved the small exchange library in the office
My sister and I spent a couple of days here about three weeks ago. Whilst the weather was very wet and cold, we enjoyed our stay. Very friendly and very comfortable cottages. The cottages are beautifully set out in the grounds and lovely and quite. Wonderful setting and close to the town centre. Thank you :
