Most charming place, loved the ferns and the forest, brand new common kitchen, very well equipped. Everything was spick and span clean. Little vases with flowers added to the charm. No closet space, but excellent mattresses. Loved it!

These cabins are stunning little places tucked in a secluded wood but only a 4 minute drive from Coromandel town so you never feel isolated.nnThe birdsong, sound of the water and the stars are incredible and it's a terrific place to relax and unwind.nnVery well equipped. The cabins come with extra blankets, umbrella, hairdryer, tea and coffee facilities and a fridge with milk and water. Very comfortable rooms with a separate sitting bench as well as the comfortable beds.nnKitchen area is really REALLY well kitted out. Huge Smeg range and all kinds of kitchen equipment so if you want to cook for yourself you have everything you could ever need.nnHugh and Charmaine were very kind and sorted out self check in for us. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend to anyone!

We had a belated night away for Father’s Day with our two adult daughters and their partners. Hugh booked us 3 rooms which were all interconnected via gorgeous walkways to the communal kitchen. Our beds were all super comfy and the kitchen set up is fabulous. We certainly made good use of this. Hugh and Boof the dog are great hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. He had great suggestions also for activities. We even got to meet and feed Ollie the resident eel. Thanks Hugh, Boof and Ollie for a fabulous stay.
