The General at the Lakes

Amidst today's hustle and bustle, I must commend the chefs for their impeccable presentation and outstanding flavors. The entire staff was warm and welcoming, ensuring that we felt cared for at every moment. This restaurant has undoubtedly earned a special place as my new favorite spot!

Food was Yum, came out super quick, great price and really enjoyed it. We went on Steak night and it was cooked perfectly. Dumplings were really nice too. Love the cocktail I got. My new favourite. Highly recommend.

Just had dinner there. Nice quick service from order to delivery.nStand was Joe the waiter, he's a bit of a fixture there now, always happy, always helpful.nNice neighbourhood restaurant. One of our favourites in The Lakes area.nnWorks triple duty as a bar, cafe, restaurant depending on the time of day. Their early morning coffees are magnificent.

The atmosphere is lovely and the staff are very efficient and professional, kindly advising us how long the food would take as we had a large group. The food and coffee's were great and presented very well. A great place to stop on your travel's to Tauranga!

I recently dined at The General and was thoroughly impressed by both the exquisite cuisine and the impeccable service. The menu showcased a variety of innovative dishes . blending bold flavors and beautiful presentation. The attentive and knowledgeable staff , Guiseppi , ensured that our meal was a memorable one, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring our satisfaction. I can’t recommend The General enough for a fantastic dining experience. great job guys , see you soon
