Been coming here as a Celiac for a while and always have been delighted to have Gluten Free fish and chips. Great service, amazing food, HUGE chip serving sizes, and quick waiting times. 10/10 would recommend!! Dietary restrictions: Many gluten free options which is very amazing for fish and chips
Unfortunately, not a pleasant experience at all. The fish was obviously a large cheap variety that was very strong as they all had huge bloodlines through them The batter was thick and greasy and the chips, although plentiful and well cooked were not salted. Definitely won't be going back!
I use to love coming to spudz and supporting local . There has been many times I have gone there thinking no I'll give them a chance but no. The fish smell off always over cooked saturated in oil the pack a disappointed and expensive definitely the portion and the quality i all so feel sick after eating my meals and don't want to waste my food. I don't want to a apologize but change listen to your local and customers and reviews.
NOT SAFE FOR CELIAC Very yummy fish but sadly not safe for celiac... Even with the "separate" fryer i was awfully sick and it took me weeks to recover. It was okay for the first 5 times of eating there but will never again after being glutented.
The fish was ok. The amount of chips was pitiful. Two scoops? That would have fed one person the amount you gave us. This was meant to feed 5. What a joke! the burger meal was meant to come with chips but you included that meals chips in our scoops. Which was tiny! Ridiculous! Will never ever come back. Extremely disappointed for the ridiculous price we paid. We will never be back. **edit** due to managers reply- the “5 people” were three kids and two adults. One of those children was meant to have chips included in her meal so TECHNICALLY 2 scoops for four people again only 2 adults should have been more then enough, but it was far far from that.

We Come and get fish and chips every couple of weeks, we ask if fish is fresh but sure it's been frozen.We ask for it to be gluten free but for some reason my wife gets reactions after eating the meal,we also ask for no salt but always get it with salt. Sadly it's time we fine another fish shop because this shop is more about making money and not listening to there customers who keep them in business.
Expected a fresh portion of chips to taste nice but they were only okay covered in sauce, quite a few recooked brown ones in there too. I ordered a chicken burger a few weeks ago an it was a cheap processed type patty, wasn't nice. Quality is poor, we won't be ordering from here again.
Have been here a few times, the fish is very small with a large price tag... The rest of the food is great.
This place used to be my fav place, but I will never forget the "raw" fish. I called them after we thought the fish was raw, I was advised that it was bass fish and that it was very jucy. I swear it was raw, maybe it was cooked, but regardless it was gross! When I spoke to them it was like they had had this conversation multiple times - might be a good time to stop selling bass/raw fish.
