I attended the Pasifika Festival on the last day. It was a great display of dance, songs and beautiful attires from the Islands of the Pacific. Outside, there were several food vendors. The food smelled delicious. However, I only had a pudding which was scrumptious. I love, love
was there for the taste of Pasifika event spacious good space for parking plain text event space that you could easily play with around and d sign the area very good location close to commercial bay and ferry
New Zealand Art Fair. A really joyous occasion. Art is culture. Art is in the eye of the beholder. What a great event held at The Cloud. I didn't take photos of the art or the dealers but they seemed just as wildy colourful and charming.
No covered walkway from the main Queens Street to the Cloud which is situated on the wharf, great in the Summer Sun not so great in the Winter Rain. Once inside it's light, warm & airy, it has toilets and good walkable outside space around the building, keep close eyes on children as there are no barriers to stop kids jumping off the wharf into the sea
Wat a cool venue I had not been here before and enjoyed the TTG they where showcasing.
Attended the Gin Festival, an OK experience. Lots of interesting & varied choices. Plenty of water available. However. Only one coffee cart there. Not enough food, only hamburgers etc in an outside area. Very few seats except in the lecture area where the sound was too distorted to hear.
So fun having the electric bike exhibition on then- What a great location for more events to take place- Auckland please have more shows on there,
Great place to hold the events & exhibitions, and really enjoyed “The Auckland Art Show 2022” in the cloud. Hope more and more exhibitions will come back soon!
Shows at the cloud are different. I visited it while the 2021 held in 2022 Olympics were on, so The Cloud was setup as the Olympics fan center, where there had screens for people to watch events and a place for kids to have some fun. Also, a store where you could by Olympic promotional gear.
Great little venue. Right by the sea and in the middle of town. Parking can be a bit challenging. We went for the coffee and chocolate show, which was fine. There was plenty of room for the various stands and a nice pedestrian flow along the hall. It's relatively bright inside and well protected from the weather.
