Interesting exhibits and shops in several of the buildings. The stories of the quake and renovation process are very interesting. Fun places to wander around and good cafe options as well.

Visit on the weekday and not too crowded Enjoy the atmosphere and love the great hall and Lumiere Cinema which also in the building

There was arts exhibition when I visited. Live music, shows and lively environment with some amazing boutique shops.

Gorgeous, historic and full of surprises, like an almost hidden movie theatre and a museum quality exhibit of ancient Greek and Roman artifacts that blew me and my son away. Plus great markets every week. I hear it's getting trouble funding, it would be a tragedy if it was lost. A living piece of Christchurch history.

Didn't have too long to explore and originally wouldn't have had bc half of the back all looked to be under renovation, but thanks to the nice toilets inside haha I got to have a peak around! Big old place for sure with lots of shops inside the front outside looks very nice at least too! So long and expansive
