A must see. An excellent selection of works set off beautifully by the building itself, art in its own right. Loved the Edith Collier exhibition. The in-house cafe is very popular. Whanganui just keeps getting better. Lots of character, so much to see and plenty to do in and around. A destination in its own right. My favourite place to visit at the moment

Excellent new Art Gallery. Was very impressed with the standard and variety of exhibits with friendly staff. Free entry but be aware nearby parking is only 60 minutes. There's a lovely cafe onsite with really nice food options plus a small gift shop including pieces for sale by local artists. A great way to spend a couple of hours.

A wonderful gallery and one of the highlights of my week in the North Island. Well worth a visit if you're in the area and appreciate some good art and history. Excellent.
