Lovely, peaceful place to stay the night. The host is so friendly and has a thousand local/regional recommendations if you need them.nBeautiful views from the room balconies.nWe enjoyed the freshly cooked English breakfast and the cereals/condiments buffet too - just what you need before a hike up to the glacier!
We had the pleasure of staying at the Te Weheka where we were made to feel special and very welcomed. From the moment we arrived, Ash went above and beyond to ensure our experience was exceptional.nnThe attention to detail was impressive, with thoughtful touches in our room that added to the overall experience. The amenities were top-notch, and the staff were always available to assist with any requests. It was clear that they genuinely cared about our comfort and satisfaction.nnOverall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay. A good hotel with adequate rooms, a balanced breakfast and a fantastic sunset viewnnIt is not the newest building but the beds are comfortable and the staff is friendly.nnIf u have booked a breakfast and served 7.45-9.00 am and u plan to sleep in, let them know the day before. Eventuell they will call to make sure whether u will be coming for breakfast nnThe rooms have everything that isnneeded no air conditioning the fridge in our room was very loud so we just unplugged it.nnBe aware of sandflies!
We stayed only one night at this boutique hotel and yet even in that time it felt as though we were their most valued guests. The excellent staff catered to all of your needs and the accommodation was very good. Canapes and drinks in the lounge before dinner was followed by an excellent meal – you could taste the care and home cooking feel to the fare – well done to all. A great place to stay in Fox Glacier.
These people basically saved our honeymoon. When our rental car broke down in front of the hotel, they cut us a deal and gave us a lovely room while we sorted all of that out. The bathtub was heaven and the sunset view from the balcony was great. The staff was so nice, made us delicious breakfasts, and helped us find a shuttle to Franz Josef. Thank you for everything.
