I have no complaints! Super nice central location for the National Park, lots of hikes nearby and a few restaurants. The hotel was very clean, and had comfy beds. There's a breakfast buffet you can pay for which is nice. The staff were very friendly, overall 10/10.
We encountered several tour groups, making the stay unbearably noisy. The soundproofing between floors is poor, and it's almost impossible to get a proper night's sleep. In the early morning, you can hear the tour leaders shouting for group gatherings downstairs, with members loudly responding from their rooms. I would recommend avoiding staying here during peak tourist seasons.
The room seemed to have been renovated recently but the hotel layout was rather sprawling with bedrooms in a number of separate buildings. Externally, the place looks a little rundown and breakfast was served over the road at the other Heartland hotel.
We booked in without much notice and found the staff lovely. Our Room was wonderful. We had a lovely view out our window. Room 29. The room was lovely and clean and the sheets on the bed were beautifully soft.nWe only stayed one night and wished we could have stayed longer.nAbyee and all the staff looked after us.nWe felt very welcome and will look at staying there again.nThe cooked buffet breakfast was yummy. The scrambled eggs are amazing.
Fantastic service! Dalaila the receptionist went out of the way to make us feel comfortable during our stay. She arrange cutlery and plates, heated all our ready to eat food, and cleaned up after. Not all hotels will be so accommodating to make sure we enjoy the food we brought! Stay and rooms were good too.
