Our organisation recently had a two day hui held at Tapu Te Ranga. It was the perfect place for our korero and our group felt very lucky to have stayed on the Marae. The whares are beautiful and we felt very welcome and at home. Delicious food as well! Thank you so much Pare and your whānau.
One of the most unique Maraes in NZ. Totally built by the people themselves. An amazing experience to visit this awesome place. The scenery is amazing as well. A must do if interested in Maori Culture.
I have been involved with Tapu te Ranga Marae for many years. It is a special place..contemporary wooden buildings and an inclusive kaupapa. It is also unique, I often take my overseas visitors there. It is difficult to describe but I have heard it described as the Māori Hogwarts.
Kia Ora, my whanau Ngatikahu Ki Whangaroa stayed at this marae on the 16th of Aug. It was an awesome place. We never got to say thank you or good bye. Much aroha to the Tapu Te Ranga whanau.Tino Pai
It's a Marae that's built on an unusual style. The lecturer was knowledgable, fluent and bi-cultural. All-in-all it was a Good day out for the school.
