Had to work there all day. Accessible restrooms, cafes, and lunches available within 75 m. A New World 5 min walk away. Expensive parking- $35 for all day in the metered lot. Takes credit cards with pay wave, at least.
Much needed green zone in the CBD, hosts many weekend events.
Waitangi Park — love all the native planting. Don’t forget your skateboard! Hit up the waterside market while you’re there.
Waitangi Park is a great open green space for just relaxing anytime of day. Surrounded by small trees offering shade. Great for a picnic or field games as well as rough and tumble for small children. Toilets are close by.
Uhm, I turn on Tame Impala at night, and I happen to just dance to my favourite ba-, Kevin Parker.

grassy area... sweet. the skate park next to it is cool. good space for events like we attended like Pipes in the Park. bagpipes- not for the faint hearted
Need an easier way for smaller kids to get into the slide.
Great green area. Skate park is good just too bad its often used as a way to get to the grassy field. Perhaps there could've been a smaller kids 'scooter' area. The kids playground is in dire need of some basic maintenance. There is a pair of skateboard like things that don't function properly as the bearings have been blown out which makes this thing dangerous!
A park in the city that you can enjoy space to chill n relax.
