Talulah
"Talulah features a beautiful mural of an otherworldly tropical scene, lush green foliage and bright splashes of colour. These elements, combined with a beautiful view across Auckland Harbour, help to transport you to a tropical South Pacific paradise in which you can forget all your troubles. Our drinks are also a key piece of the equation. We have a large list of tropical libations for our guests to choose from. Our drinks use fresh juices, custom made syrups, house produced infusions and of course, many fine Caribbean rums to create flavour profiles that help the drinker escape the ordinary. Amongst our colourful collection of cocktails are large format drinks designed for you and your friends to share."

Talulah has a great vibe and the cocktail bowls were so good, along with the other cocktails on offer, makes for a good night! Had a great couple of hours catching up with cousins on the comfy seating provided. Service was also good. Highly recommend!
Huge thanks to the incredible bar staff/team at Talulah Bar on night of 26/3/2022...Ari, Josh, Cameron, Mitchell! You guys rock! Celebrated our babies 21st event. Ari, you are beautiful! Constantly checking in on us to ensure we were OK, didn't bat an eyelid with all the music changes/demands we were asking for so our girl could pull off her siva Samoa . Your boys behind the bar were also fabulous & so professional, service with a massive smile & so personable. To the owner/s of Talulah Bar....you should be proud of your staff that night. They went above and beyond to ensure our girls night was perfect. Ari & co. God Bless
Cute spot if your looking for somewhere different that has its own personality and vibe. Bar tenders were very friendly, good to arrive early as its quite small and fills up quickly. Drinks were very tasty. We loved the bowl Hella expensive but you only live once !!! They also have $10 cocktails between 4-7pm which we loved.
This is my favorite bar in Auckland! It's intimate and charming with good food, great drinks, and an all-star team behind the bar. Super cool view with awesome music. Talulah is the perfect place for a date, a night out with friends, or to grab a drink after work. I got The Hurricane and the Bikini Bottom, both were delicious and flavorful. Their fries are mouth-watering. Great service and very talented bartenders. I will definitely be coming back!
Delicious and strong drinks. $10 cocktails during happy hour! Runs till 7pm so make sure you book especially on a Friday night. The snacks are tasty too but a bit on the expensive side so we usually just go for drinks.
Great little tiki bar in Auckland. Right by the water super nice. Great selection of drinks. Holly is a legend and super knowledgeable about tiki and created a great selections of drinks. All of them come in super cool mugs as well. Definitely worth checking out.
Great vibe, cute covered rooftop bar. Cool at the end of a hot summer day in the city. Be patient if you go during happy hour as the tasty drinks will take a few minutes to make with lots of guests.
Awesome cosy rooftop slightly covered bar in "The Chambers" on Quay St. Very busy Hawaiian type bar. Gets very busy when I was there on. Friday night. Limited tables/seating. Must go there early and be prepared to spend $$. OMG the cocktails presentation and flavour is to die for! If only I had unlimited funds to try all he cocktails on the menu. High recommend ordering the Pork Belly dish! Was so tender and he flavour to die for. Their hot chilli sauce was more like mid chutney, not spicy enough but still went well with the dish
Terrible, you can’t order from a person, only online, then it took 30 mins and wasn’t even busy. Espresso martinis were half full with little crema and obviously made from syrup. At $20 plus the .40 you have to pay to use their website / card it is a rip off. Do not recommend.
My friends and I flew in from the UK that day, anticipating a chill cocktail night as a friend had called in to make a reservation and the person on the line said it is not needed, we could just walk in. We arrive at the bar at 10pm right after our dinner. As we made our way up, we kindly asked for a table for 5 … the response we got back was a blunt “No sorry” although there were tables available. We exited the place and went for a 15-20 min stroll and decided to come back and ask again, staff looked me up and down “No we can’t take in anymore tonight” again 3-4 tables were vacant. At this point my friends and I were on the stairs planning back and forth if we should head to another place, until a few people walked out. From 3 people to 7 eventually counted 11 people have walked out. One group noticed us at the stairs as they were leaving, she said “We noticed you guys come in twice and we were about to leave, you lot can fill up our table enjoy your night” As we were about to go in and ask for a table for the 3rd time, the bouncer had come up to ask why we were still not in yet and we had explained the situation to him. He took it upon himself to ask for us, yet again it was a firm no from the inside. We also noticed when we were downstairs, there were 4 people who were let in and at that point we had the same thought they are just picking and choosing customers. Does this have to do with the way we dressed? The way we looked? What was the reason of refusing us a table without any valid explanation when there were plenty of tables vacant, then proceeds to easily let in 4 other people who literally just came after us. What an absolute bummer!
