Wow fabulous value. I couldn't eat all of my fisherman basket. Nor could Tony eat his Paua chips and salad meal. Fantastic value. Very tasty . Cooked to perfection
We loved the fish and chips here. The servings were huge, we bought a pack 2 fish and half scoop and the two of us couldn't finish it. The decor and service were as you would expect for a fish and chip shop. It was busy, so we found it a little noisy at times. They also sell fresh seafood and will cook fish you choose from the fresh fish counter for a small fee.
Some of the worst fish n chips we’ve had for a long time. Fish was super fatty, battered sausage wasn’t cooked properly. I guess the chips were okay. I now feel like chundering.
I should have read the reviews first before placing an order as there are a few complaints on late delivery. Order was despatched at 5pm on a Mon and it wasn’t delivered the next day. Got told delivery was held up for Auckland but the goods had ice packs on the top and bottom and they will be refrigerated. Nope not the case. Delivered late on Wed so 48hrs later. Everything was spoiled. Ice pack leaked. Nothing was edible. There’s no response to my email and the person who picked up the call said she couldn’t resolve it. The manager never called. It was meant to be as a X’mas surprise for the fam and it’s now ruined. Place online order at your own risk!
We went to Tangi end of may 21, my partner suggested me to try this shop. This is one of my amazing fish n chips shop. Clean, fresh, good service and not expensive. When you come to Napier, please stop here and try their fish and chips.
Came to support my whanau business and OMG and I glad I did! Generous half scoop see pic and fish so fresh it melts in your mouth. Staff also very friendly and helpful running a clean establishment. My puku thanks you and “I’ll be back”
Love calling in here when down the HB. Grabbed a $24 meal I think this was. Crispy, fresh and fed two adults and two kids. Got more fish than the pack said which was a bonus! Kept us fed for our ride back to Gizzy.

Excellent meals 2 choose from bit more expensive than the usual fish n chip shop but well worth it food was delicious fresh and nice size plates
