This fish & chip shop in St Kilda in Dunedin is highly rated on Google. On a bitter Dunedin night we decided to test that rating. Here, one can order fish ordinaire i.e elephant fish, hoki, sole, or blue cod. Blue cod was too expensive seriously!, and the sole was sold out, so we went for hoki. The result? Crisp, thin batter, plenty of fish !, and good chips. One of us ordered onion rings, and they were assessed as good. Overall? Good.
Undoubtedly, for me, the best fish n chips shop in Dunedin. I don’t eat fnc regularly but every time I have eaten, it’s been amazing. Chips - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Cod cooked to perfection and batter not too thick but perfectly crispy. Keep up the awesome work TAKEAWAYS ON MARLOW. Must try.
Take away blue cod burger and chips. No wait this evening after phoning order through Cooked beautifully, although the piece of blue cod not big it was still value for money. When I come back will try another option for fish to increase portion size
The best Fish & Chips in Dunedin! The regular fish size was so huge in itself. The chips were carefully cooked and salted. Very nice old-timer running the place with his family. Thank you
