Great taste, very generous staff, we ordered only fish and they gave us free chips and pineapple ring. Will go again there
The shop doesn't look that great, with the staff behind a big piece of plastic, but the fish and chips were much better. The fish - hoki - was quite a thick piece but moist with decent crisp batter. Plenty of chips, mostly crisp, and a proper potato taste - obviously hand cut in-house.
We go a little out of our way for this fish n chips, & it's worth it. The chips are just a right crispy & the fish hoki is yum. Often slightly heavy on the salt, but otherwise doing a great job.

It wasn’t great! My husband and I decided to shout ourselves a treat for the first time in months! I rung up to order and they only do full scoops of chips which is fine so we had a scoop of chips, a hotdog and 2 bits of fish….. I found it odd they didn’t tell me how long and they also didn’t ask for a name but anyway.nnI cracked up laughing at the fact the meal was only wrapped in one bit of paper which the fat had soaked and was starting to rip. The chips were somehow soaked in oil yet so so dry and stale. Oh and there were a heap of burnt ones! The fish was clearly frozen which is fine but the fact when you bit into it water came out was slightly concerning… the only saving grace for this meal was the average hotdog….. I’m praying we don’t end up with food poisoning from the very dirty shop…. If it was a sit down restaurant I wouldn’t have eaten the meal or paid for it….
