Surprisingly really good fish and chips. The batter was like a light tempered batter not heavily battered and they do crumbed fish too. The chips were delicious too. Service was quick and welcoming.

A stalwart of the Port Chalmers community. I frequented this establishment regularly as a student and am still thinking about it now in London.nnThe fish burger is an out of body experience at that price. You won’t find better.nnCheers
Terrible value for money - two scoops of chips was about a small pottle's worth and when we went back to ask about it, they pretended not to understand what we were saying. Really disappointed in a local business not looking after its customers.
Everything tasted like burnt oil, was full of oil and patties not cooked in middle. Fish was un edible. Took back only to have older male aggressive and yell at his son. Meal was cooked again, only to be worse than the first lot.nLast time I went I ordered chicken chowmain and was given fried rice.nnWish I'd taken a pic of the fish separately. And also the 2nd attempt and them cooking. Fish batter was dark brown
