Takanini Town Centre

A busy shopping centre with a warehouse outlet and a number of other brands and a BNZ branch. The centre has a mix of commercial and retail tenants. There is also a bar and restaurant the blacksmith. The parking area is often congested but I've usually found a park.

Great outdoor mall with heaps of shops. Massive variety store with heaps of cool things in it also. Parking is extremely tight and patience is needed as cars can not get in and out of parks without taking up the whole road.

My friend and l thought we would support the new Silky Otter cinema in Takanini Village. We met for lunch before the movie which ran 120minutes plus 20 minutes of shorts before it started. We exceeded the 180 minute village parking time and were both slapped with an $85 parking fine which had an added $1.49 for paying by the only option onlinen. We will not be visiting Silky Otter in the future, rather continuing to travel to Botany, Omiston or Manukau cinemas.

A nice little place to shop I mostly go here for The Warehouse but there are also some yum bites to grab such as Sushi & Don & LJs. Also having the Blacksmiths there to swing by and have a little midday drink is very handy!nnThe carpark can get a little hectic too from time to time so its good to think fast because some people are a bit inpatient.
