The drinks and venue were fine but I was a bit ticked off that they kept serving me dark liquor in a tall glass with a straw, but would serve my male friends the same drink in a short glass. very old fashioned to put a gender on glassware

Great bar for parties and events. Parking may be meh but its worth a bit of a walk when the place is this good. Love to thank Jonas for serving all my guests, alone until late night, absolute champ. Great guy

Nice intimate bar, great music, friendly staff and awesome free comedy night every Wednesday plus free pizza. Looking forward to coming back .

Terrible unfriendly staff for a comedy night. Left our umbrella and tried to contact them multiple times via and email no-one has ever responded very disappointing

Booked the venue in March 2019 for my son's 21st. Viewed the place twice and paid a deposit. Four days before the event in July 2019 rang Ruth, the owner, to check access times to set up. Told double booked and she would prefer to hold an engagement party that weekend, who had also booked the caterer and D.J. Total mismanagement, no ethics and after the highest deal! I would not recommend this place.

Nice atmosphere, free Tuesday comedy night was great

After googling what to do in Auckland tonight... we chose to head to Tabac for the comedy night for something different....we sat at the bar and asked the barman to offer us a suggestion of a cocktail or two... surprise us.... his reply was ..we dont do that here.... i said what... that's yr job.... he said we should leave and go somewhere else... and that he wouldn't be serving us.... this barman shouldn't be behind a bar at all... very uncool and disappointing

An intimate, out of the main hustle and bustle. Was a nice refuge from the city and all the activity. A great hire venue and fantastic bar staff, all on board to make our event epic

Really friendly and immaculate customer service, drinks crisp and full of effervescence. Watched a great live comedy gig and chatted with some interesting intellectual minds between laughs. Magnetic.
