I've not been to a live music pub in a while, but I feel that this was one of the best nights out. Went on a Friday night. Made new friends including band members. Had a cracking night.
A great place to come and experience live music in the heart of the city. I went last Thursday to see Fools Lagoon perform and release some of their new music. The atmosphere was great and the sound was awesome!
Good crowd and atmosphere. There are two floors, and drinks are reasonably priced. The music wasn't very diversed when we were there as they only played metal and a few punk songs. Seems that this is primarily a local spot, but we had a good time!
One time my friend invited me here to join a gig with a mosh pit upstairs and all. I instead sat drunk in the lobby and ate like 3 of the korean hot dogs they sold because of how amazing they were. Come here if you get hungry when you drink, you will NOT regret it
That place is always humming with excellent music, has an eclectic awesome vibe and cool peeps!Food: 4/5
It is great to have a venue where you can hear live bands. it is very intimate and has a good vibe about it. meet interesting people and hear great music. Shame it could not a little bigger, but then our City does not allow for that expansion where it is currently based . But recommend if you are looking for something different, and want to hear music, that you may have not heard before.
I now want to dig under my house to have my own Ding Dong Lounge! So good!
Cool city bar with Tuesday Comedy. We enjoyed it tonight and thanks for the fried chicken.
This place is wonderful! I went to Ding Dong Lounge yesterday with my two sons and my wife. We had a wonderful night with tons of beer. Totally recommend this lounge to everyone in Auckland.
Fun playing up at "Dead Witch" not a bad little venue...
